Student Union Gymnasium

The Lackawanna College Student Union Gymnasium is the home of
Lackawanna Men's and Women's Basketball as well as Women's
Volleyball. The Gymnasium is located at 500 Jefferson Avenue
in Scranton and is the former Catholic Youth Center. The gym
just finished Phase 2 of a three phase renovation project on the
historical landmark. New lighting, bleachers, ventilation and
a paint job have transformed an aging building into a
state-of-the-art athletic facility.
Besides hosting Lackawanna athletic events, the gymnasium is used internally by the College for student activities such as Intramurals and Graduation.
The Student Union Gymnasium is also host to the historic Lynett Memorial Basketball Tournament and recently hosted the NJCAA Region XIX Basketball Championships. The tournament will return in 2011.
The history of the old CYC brought many other forms of entertainment to the Scranton area including boxing, professional wrestling, concerts and semi-pro basketball. More recently, the Student Union Gymnasium has hosted MMA events with more returning to the building this spring.
John Henzes Veterans Memorial Stadium
The Lackawanna Football team has played their home games at John Henzes Veterans Memorial Stadium since 2005. The Stadium, which is part of the Valley View School District, is located at 901 Main Street in Peckville, approximately eight miles from the Scranton main campus. The facility went through a major renovation in 2005 that saw many additions to the including new bleachers on both sides of the field, a new field house with locker rooms and offices, new concession stands and a new press box. The playing surface is Field Turf.
County Field
The Men's Baseball team play their home games at County Field which is located off Route 307 in Moscow, approximately 13 miles from the Scranton main campus.
Sherwood Park
The Women’s Softball team plays their home games at Sherwood Park, 800 Barnard Street, Dunmore, Pennsylvania. The park is located 5 miles from the Scranton, Campus.
Loyola Athletic Complex
The Women's Soccer team plays their home games at the Loyola Athletic Complex which is located on the campus of Scranton Prepartory High School at 1000 Wyoming Ave. in Scranton approximately one mile from the Scranton main campus.
