Lackawanna Beats Duchess to Keep Winning Streak Alive

At Poughkeepsie, New York, the Lackawanna College baseball team relied on the bat of Mike Accardi to beat Dutchess Community College by a 4-2 score. Accardi had three hits, two of which were home runs, and three runs batted in. The win extended the Falcons' consecutive game winning streak to twelve (12) and improved their overall record to 22-7.

Also contributing at the plate was Kris Moules. Moules , who ended the day with two doubles. Moules now has seven two-baggers this season. Jordan Gottshall was credited with the win, improving his pitching record to two wins and a loss.

Lackawanna again takes the field next Friday when they play a home doubleheader against Gloucester Community College. Friday's contests start at 1:00 PM. This twin-bill matches the number three team in the latest NJCAA Division III poll (Gloucester) versus the number eight team in the Division II national poll (Lackawanna).
