  • Lackawanna Volleyball's Season Draws to a Close at the NJCAA District L Tournament

    Lackawanna College hosted Day 2 of the NJCAA District L Volleyball Tournament Sunday afternoon at the Student Union. The Falcons played in the first match of the night but were defeated by Mercyhurst NE 3-0. Mercyhurst went on to win the tournament defeating Harcum College in the finals 3-2.
  • Lackawanna Volleyball Survives Day 1 of NJCAA District L Tourney

    Lackawanna College went 1-1 on the day and made it to the Semi-Final round to be played tomorrow. Excellent performances were put in by Jordan Skoff, Amaya Townsend, and Brenda Reninga to help the Falcons make it to Day 2 of the tournament.
  • Falcons Volleyball drop final matches of the season

    Lackawanna College Volleyball played in a Tri-match Saturday afternoon against Delaware Technical CC and County College of Morris. The Falcons dropped Game 1 against Del Tech 3-1 (D25-17, L25-23, D25-23, D25-15) and lost Game 2 vs Morris 3-2 (L25-19, M25-13, M25-23, L25-17, M16-14). The Falcons record now rests at 10-12.

  • Harcum College defeats Lackawanna Volleyball 3-0

    Harcum College defeated Lackawanna College Volleyball Monday night 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-21) in a conference matchup. The Falcon’s record now stands at 10-9 (1-2).
  • Jordan Skoff and Brenda Reninga receive EPAC Volleyball All-Conference honors

    The Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference has announced that two Lady Falcons have been selected to the All-Conference Rosters.  Jordan Scoff being named to the First Team and Brenda Reninga earning Second Team honors.
  • Falcons Sweep Volleyball Tri-Match

    Scranton, PA – Sunday afternoon the Lackawanna College Volleyball team swept its tri-match with Community College of Philadelphia and Delaware Technical Community College. The Falcons defeated CCP in three sets 25-11, 25-8 and 25-5, before taking three out of four against Delaware Technical Community College by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-18. Their only loss of the day came in the second set when they fell to the Spirt 25-19.
  • Falcons Volleyball lose DIG PINK Match 3-0

    Tuesday night was the Lackawanna Falcons Volleyball DIG PINK game. Montgomery County CC defeated the Falcons 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-14) Lackawanna’s 5 game winning streak was snapped, dropping their record to 8-8.
  • Falcons Volleyball extend winning streak to five

    Lackawanna Women’s Volleyball took both games in a Tri-match Saturday afternoon as they defeated Bucks County CC 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 26-24) and Manor College 3-0 (25-15, 25-6, 25-14) These two wins mark a 5 game winning streak for the Falcons, improving their record to 8-7.
  • Lackawanna goes 5 sets to beat County College of Morris

    It was a long game on Tuesday for the Falcons but they managed to take home the win in 5 sets against County College of Morris. (25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-9) This marks the first match the Falcons have gone 5 sets this season.

    Lackawanna College played a Tri-match Saturday afternoon against Lehigh Carbon CC and Luzerne County CC. The Falcons won game 1 vs Lehigh Carbon 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-12) and won game 2 vs Luzerne County CC 3-0 (28-26, 26-24, 25-18)

  • Lackawanna Volleyball splits Tuesday Night's Tri-match 1-1

    Lackawanna Volleyball split Tuesday’s Tri-match 1-1. The first game of the night saw Harcum College defeat Lackawanna 3-0. (25-11, 25-23, 25-19). Lackawanna was able to bounce back in their second game, beating Manor College 3-0. (25-15, 25-7, 25-11)
  • Women's Volleyball goes 1-1 during Saturday's Tri-Match

    The Lackawanna Women's Volleyball team picked up their 2nd win of the season during Saturday's Tri-Match as they defeated Luzerne County Community College 3-1. (25-17,16-25,25-16,25-14) During the second match of the night, the Falcons lost to Montgomery County Community College 3-1 (25-22,25-14,22-25,25-21). The Falcons record now sits at 2-5.

    Lackawanna College lost their match 3-0 against Bucks County Community College Tuesday evening. They dropped three straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-22. This loss marks the fourth loss of the season, their record stands at 1-4.
  • Lackawanna Volleyball Claims First Win of 2018 Campaign

    Philadelphia, PA – Tuesday evening, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team claimed it first victory of the 2018 season with a 3-0 win over Community College of Philadelphia. The Falcons took the three sets by scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25 -7.
  • Falcons Volleyball falls to Lehigh Carbon CC 3-1

    Scranton PA: Saturday Afternoon, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team lost their second home game of the season. This weekend it was a 3-1 loss to Lehigh Carbon Community College. The Falcons won the first set 25-22 only to see Lehigh Carbon CC take the next three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 26-24.

    Bethlehem, PA: Thursday the Lackawanna College Volleyball team suffered a loss to Northampton Community College in their first road game of the 2018 season. The Falcons fell in three sets by scores of 25-9, 25-16 and 25-14.

    Scranton, PA: Tuesday night, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team fell to Harrisburg Community College in their inaugural game on their newly refinished court. The Falcons suffered losses in all three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-19.
