Lackawanna Falls to HACC in Home Opener

Scranton, PA: Tuesday night, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team fell to Harrisburg Community College in their inaugural game on their newly refinished court. The Falcons suffered losses in all three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-19.

Despite the loss, Lackawanna had individual performances that they hope to build on as the season progresses. Jordan Skoff had seven kills and three solo blocks, while Amaya Townsend contributed nine digs and Brenda Reninga added four assists.

The Falcons next match is Thursday when they travel to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to take on the Northampton Community College Spartans. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
